A Day at the Weber's

Ever since Paislee started preschool she has loved to do arts and crafts, which is new at our house. She has never been interested before. The other day I was doing house work and found her in her room making a picture for the family.

I decided to get the play-doh out that has been stashed away in the closet since Santa gave it to Paislee last year for Christmas. I don't like to clean up messes, but sad that I have waited for so long to let my kids play with it, because it has kept them so entertained. Riker doesn't like the taste much, but loves to pull it apart into tiny little pieces!

Paislee is in seventh heaven and for the last two mornings it has been the first thing she asks to do when she wakes up!

Sunday morning I was trying to get us all ready for church, as quietly as possible, since Heath had worked and was trying to get some sleep, when I had to run to the laundry room for something and came back to Riker sitting on the kitchen floor with a wedge of bread. Paislee was sitting on the counter with the bread knife and said, "mommy I didn't even cut me, Riker was hungry so I wanted to get him some beckfast." What a great big sister!

The last couple of days Riker has started to say "teese" when he does something that he wants us to see. (I think he got it from having family pics done last week) He is also becoming the newest stunt man around town. He is so proud of himself.

I had to add this picture. I opened the blinds this morning to the backyard and this was the view I got! All three of the horses lined up evenly spaced, facing the same way, with their bums towards us. It was quite the view :)

When Grandma Melody came over and babysat the kids while Heath and I went on the mountain, she pushed Riker around in a diaper box. Well, now he thinks that if he can fit in it, it is a ride around the family room for him. He will sit in anything and wait to be pushed around. He has learned that if he signs please and says "tank tou" it helps with the number of times he gets rides.

I hope you enjoy your week and will hopefully be posting some fun and exciting Halloween pics next week.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Welcome Fall!

Fall Round Up!

Yesterday Heath and I went with some friends to round up cows. We rode for about 9 1/2 hours. Melody, my mother-in-law came and watched our kids. We had a lot of fun. This is Heath and Boomer getting a drink.

This is Skeeter and I getting a drink. He is our cute little Mustang that we got from Heath's brother Tate for helping with some fencing on their ranch. We love Skeeter!

This is on top of the mountain. We stopped to have lunch and give the cows a little break.

On October 8th, 2008, my grandfather passed away. Last Thursday, the one year mark of his death we took grandma and visited his grave. Oh, how I miss my grandpa. I know that he is watching my little family grow, but how I wish I could give him a great big hug.

This is the kids helping with the chores. They love to climb and play on the haystack!

We went to the pumpkin patch last week. I tried so hard to get Paislee to look at the camera just once, but it didn't happen. They had a lot of fun, although Riker's not sure he likes his pumpkin on the front porch. He keeps taking off with it.

This is us in the pumpkin patch. Scouting out the best pumpkins!

We have a serious sweet tooth at our house for fall treats. Thanks to my friend Sharie for giving us a super easy and yummy caramel popcorn recipe. My kids are hooked!

I hope you enjoy. Happy Fall Y'all!
