Our July!

Our July was full of fun and play. We are going to attempt to repeat it in August! Although, I am going to try and update my blog more frequently. Hope you enjoy snap shots of just a few of our many fun times this month.

Paislee is becoming quite the cowgirl. If you ask her what she wants to do, she says "horsey ride"!

Riker turned 1 on the 23rd and we had a family get together on the 25th. It was lots of fun, we had a bbq and Riker and the cousins had a blast eating his Cookie Monster cake.

Here is Riker's birthday cake that my friend Emily and I decorated. (mainly the other Emily!)

This is Riker Baby's 1st birthday pics. I absolutely love them. The kids and I went to my sister's and she took pics of him with a smasher cake. I can't wait to get some of them made up into 10x10 on mount board and put on my kitchen wall. I can't believe my little guy is 1!

This is Riker and his 1st cake. I bought it from Flour Girls and Dough Boys in American Fork. It was so cute. We were trying to take pics of Riker in his little birthday hat and while we were taking pics, Paislee and FiFi (my sister's little 2 year old) helped themselves to the cake. I was not a happy mommy at first, but then decided it just adds character to the story!

We went up to Duck Fort Res in the Manti Lasal Ntl Forest and Pnut had such a good time.

This is Riker and I fishing with Titus, who kept jumping in the Res everytime I cast my line. Maybe thats why I didn't catch anything!

Paislee caught and reeled in her first fish, a Tiger Trout!!! She thought it was really neat, but wouldn't touch it. When we got home, Heath cleaned the fish and Paislee and Riker sat and ate the whole thing.

Riker had tubes put in his ears on mine and Heath's 5th wedding anniversary. We had to be to the hospital at 0630 a.m. Heath and I were like walking zombies, we both worked the night shift and had to go to the hospital right after we got off. Riker did really well and hasn't had a runny nose since.

Riker and Paislee have been fighting over the tube when we go to the lake. We have had free rein of my mom and dad's boat all summer. We only live 15 min away and love to spend the evening at the lake. We usually have to pry the kids from the tube.

Paislee and FiFi got matching Radio Flyer Tricycles. Paislee earned hers by finally potty training. Yeah!!!! (they even know exactly who's is who's)

Paislee was all business at the Ute Stampede carnival. She know wants to be a bronc rider.

Riker got all cowboyed up for the rodeo. His favorite part was all the cowgirls on their horses waving at him!
