Our Fall 2010

As usual I am playing catch up! There are lots of fun pics of our family and our adventures in which we have enjoyed. We went to my sisters house for Thanksgiving and had a very enojoyable day. The kids has so much fun we decided to stay the weekend and play some more. I didn't take any pics, they are on Mollie's camera, so hopefully I can get them posted before baby Quincie makes her arrival!

Riker enjoying the first real snow fall of the season. He has a blast playing while Paislee was at school. He really wants to make a "humphrey" aka a snowman! We have yet to make one, but hopefully real soon.

Riker trying out his new gogs (bogs!)

Riker broke his arm on November 16. He was attempting to get off of my bed after quiet time and lost his footing and did a front flip right off my bed. Since this picture he has a bright, neon green hard cast on that has been wonderful. From the time that he had nothing on his arm and a splint, Riker was unable to sleep for nap time and bedtime, since the cast he has slept all night every night! The pics of his new cast are on Mollie's camera as well and Riker is being stubborn about me taking more pics!

Riker getting really good with his left hand!

The kids and I were fortunate to go to Texas to see Heath the first part of November. We decided to stay in the hotel on base, which ended up being heaven sent. They put us in the temporary housing. We were able to stay in a town house for a week. It was great, it definately beat staying a tiny little hotel room and it was even cheaper then you would pay for a cheap hotel! The kids called it "the house"!

We had a blast playing at the playground every day

Having some fun play time with daddy on his day off

While in Texas, we decided to go down to Ft Worth. The kids had a blast. We were also able to meet up with Uncle Benny and his family in Ft Worth. The kids really enjoyed seeing their cousin Parker. Oh how we wish he lived closer.

Daddy riding the mechanical bull, Uncle Benny insisted a real cowboy show us how its done!

My cautious cowgirl. She says she is never going to ride bulls.

I am a little worried that Riker already has the right form for riding a bull. I am really hoping that he will decide that another rodeo sport is his thing, but I am not going to keep my fingers crossed!

Our little family

Uncle Benny, Aunt Amberlie, Parker, Amberlie's brother Mark, Daddy, Riker and Paislee, waiting for the long horns to run down the middle of the road.

Happy Halloween! This year we decided to stay home and celebrate by ourselves. We had a great time, although it was a little chilly.

The kids and I went to Disneyland with a friend of mine from work when Heath left for Texas. We had a blast and are already trying to talk daddy in to taking us next year.

Paislee and I waiting to see Tinkerbell.

Riker enjoying his ice cream sandwhich.

All of these adventures started when we went to Kansas in September to see our Papa. The kids had such a fun time with Papa. We found a frog and had many fun ventures. This is just a couple months before Papa left to go back to Iraq. Pnut and Riker really love Papa and miss him tons already.
We hope you enjoyed seeing our many fun adventures. We hope that you enjoyed the fall of 2010 as well. Our next update, will probably include a little addition, one that we are very anxious and excited about. We wish you a very merry holiday season.
