Santa Claus Came To Town!!!!

This is just a glimpse of what Santa brought to our house. Paislee and Riker got a miniature pony. His name is M & M and he helped Santa carry elves to and from the workshop. I think that he is going to get a lot of love at our house. He has already been on a walk around the block to check out his new house and surroundings.

Riker keeps calling him, "mine goggy, mine goggy". This little guy is the perfect size, as you can see, Riker is the same heighth as his back.

We hope you have a Merry Christmas! We will post some more pics of our fun adventures of Christmas Eve and Christmas later.

Oh Christmas Tree

We have been enjoying this very busy and very exciting and fun time of year. Heath just recently transferred into the Air Force Reserves after serving 9 years with the Utah Army National Guard, we are very excited about the changes that will come with this transfer.

Our latest adventure took us to the mountains for a family tradition.

To find the....

perfect tree.
This year we went to a new spot and after 4 hours of searching Heath found "the perfect charlie brown tree"
The kids had a blast riding the 4 wheeler and playing in the snow.

Riker and Paislee having a snack while we scoped out potential trees.

Our cute tree, if fits so perfectly. The kids are really proud of it.

Riker was so excited to play on the ladder while Heath set the tree up. He is the cutest little man ever!

We also decided to have an entire kid Christmas tree. We made our own ornaments out of gingerbread cookie dough, although all the ornaments on the bottom of the tree have little bite marks in them. Riker can't quite figure out why the cookies are on the tree! Paislee is my little baker, she did such a great job of cutting out the cookies with the cookie cutters.

The perfect Christmas Tree! It brings such an nice warm feeling along with the yummy smell of pine. We have had the lights on since we strung them!

We hope you enjoy the holiday season and hope that you feel the true spirit of Christmas in your hearts and homes.

Merry Christmas
