Welcome New Year!!!

I feel like we are just starting to be able to enjoy the New Year. Paislee got sick on the 30th of December with a very high fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abd pain. We just thought she had the tummy bug, but when we couldn't keep her fevers down from 105 we decided to take her to the Emergency Room. They told us she had an ear infection and the tummy bug. We were really excited to start getting her better.

In the meantime Riker, Heath, and I all got the tummy bug but recovered very quickly. Paislee still failed to improve. Last Tuesday night, she got incredibly sick with fever and abdominal pain so severe she couldn't walk or even lift her head off the bed. I decided to trek to Primary Childrens at 1100 p.m. Thanks to Amberlie, my sister-in-law, I was able to drop Riker off at their house so that he could sleep.

I got to the emergency room about 130 a.m. and Paislee was taken right back, because they thought she had appendicitis. After doing some blood work and hearing that she also had a cough, they found that her whole right lung was full of pneumonia. After getting some IV antibiotics we got to go home.

Paislee is starting to feel better and working hard at getting back to her playful, fun self.
I am working hard to exercise and get into shape. We are excited to start finishing off our basement so that we can have lots of play dates in our new play room and lots of fun get togethers.

We are hoping that this new year brings lots of joy and happiness to our family. We are looking forward to many fun and exciting adventures.

We hope that the New Year finds all your families well as well.

Santa Claus Came To Town!!!!

This is just a glimpse of what Santa brought to our house. Paislee and Riker got a miniature pony. His name is M & M and he helped Santa carry elves to and from the workshop. I think that he is going to get a lot of love at our house. He has already been on a walk around the block to check out his new house and surroundings.

Riker keeps calling him, "mine goggy, mine goggy". This little guy is the perfect size, as you can see, Riker is the same heighth as his back.

We hope you have a Merry Christmas! We will post some more pics of our fun adventures of Christmas Eve and Christmas later.
