I am a little curious of how all these mommies keep their blogs updated. I find myself doing the bare minimum to myself in the morning to get ready for the day and my head hits the pillow not long after the munchkins but decided it was finally time to get even less sleep and get a new post up. (It's funny that I started to put this post together a week ago!)

Tomorrow is a very exciting day at our house....we get our daddy home! Heath will be home and stationed at Hill Air Force Base, which means we will have a weekend daddy!

On December 30, 2010 we welcomed our sweet little Quincie Bedelia who is truly my Heaven sent little lady! She is so sweet spirited and hardly makes a noise. (Sometimes, I think it is a disadvantage because she doesnt get as much attention as I would like to give her)

January was full of adjustments. Not only was it an adjustment to having a new baby, but to being a single mommy of the 3 little munchkins I have.

Febuary was a very hard month for us. (The tears are already streaming down my face, as this is hard to write) We were planning to go to Phoenix to see Heath and play in the sun. The day before we were planning to leave, Feb 16th I asked my mom to come and tend Paislee and Riker so that I could go to a doctors appt and then get my hair cut. I drove to Salt Lake and after my doctor appt I decided to go spend some quality time with my Grandma and enjoy some lunch. I tried to call her before going to her house to see what she would like for lunch, she didn't answer. I was hoping that she was in the tub or just couldn't make it to the phone. I decided to get Wendy's as I knew that if I went to the house first I wouldn't have time to go and get lunch before my hair appointment. I also had a feeling something was wrong, but thought that maybe if I got lunch everything would be okay. I preceeded to Grandma's house with two #1's with a sides of Chili, a Diet Coke, a coke and of course two Chocolate Frosty's for each of us. When I got to Grandma's I went to the back door and new something was wrong when her news paper that her neighbors put by the back door was still there. The door was also locked. I call my mom and asked her to be on the phone with me while I climbed through the garage window to get a key and open the door. When I opened the door, I found my sweet little Grandma still in the chair at the kitchen table. There was nothing I could do for Grandma as she had passed the afternoon/evening before after my mom had been to see her before leaving for my house.

Although, it is VERY, VERY, difficult to have Grandma gone, as she will surely be missed, my family has alot of neat memories of Grandma. Heath was the only one in the family who could give Grandma a hard time and get away with it, Paislee and Riker adored great Grandma and sweet little Quincie was able to meet her.

March has also been a bit of a challenge at our house. Quincie was diagnosed with RSV. We started by taking her to out patient suction clinics, but that only lasted 3 days. She ended up being admitted to the pediatric unit at Utah Valley for 4 days. We are finally on the mend. If it wasn't for my mother in law and parents, I would have been in a world of hurt. I am so incredibly thankful for them and for all the help, support, and love they give to Heath, myself, and our kids. We are truly blessed.

We are also looking forward to Spring/Summer. Riker is now potty trained, but with that comes a lack of clothes. It is hard to keep them on him! Although, it is funny that he always seems to have some kind of cowboy apparell on.

<img style="display:block; There are lots of fun pics of our family and our adventures in which we have enjoyed. We went to my sisters house for Thanksgiving and had a very enojoyable day. The kids has so much fun we decided to stay the weekend and play some more. I didn't take any pics, they are on Mollie's camera, so hopefully I can get them posted before baby Quincie makes her arrival!

Riker enjoying the first real snow fall of the season. He has a blast playing while Paislee was at school. He really wants to make a "humphrey" aka a snowman! We have yet to make one, but hopefully real soon.

Riker trying out his new gogs (bogs!)

Riker broke his arm on November 16. He was attempting to get off of my bed after quiet time and lost his footing and did a front flip right off my bed. Since this picture he has a bright, neon green hard cast on that has been wonderful. From the time that he had nothing on his arm and a splint, Riker was unable to sleep for nap time and bedtime, since the cast he has slept all night every night! The pics of his new cast are on Mollie's camera as well and Riker is being stubborn about me taking more pics!

Riker getting really good with his left hand!

The kids and I were fortunate to go to Texas to see Heath the first part of November. We decided to stay in the hotel on base, which ended up being heaven sent. They put us in the temporary housing. We were able to stay in a town house for a week. It was great, it definately beat staying a tiny little hotel room and it was even cheaper then you would pay for a cheap hotel! Pnut and Riker really love Papa and miss him tons already.

We hope you enjoyed seeing our many fun adventures. We hope that you enjoyed the fall of 2010 as well. Our next update, will probably include a little addition, one that we are very anxious and excited about. We wish you a very merry holiday season.

IT'S A BOY????    IT'S A GIRL????

Yesterday, after a long extra week of waiting for an ultrasound we were finally off to see what this little munchkin is. Paislee reminded me before I went to the doc that it better be a girl! I had to nicely remind her that I am not the one that makes the decision, it is up to our Heavenly Father.

Paislee and Riker were very open about us seeing what sex they were at their ultrasounds, as for this baby, I caught an idea real quick that we may not find out during our scheduled ultrasound and it may be more waiting for me. From the get go, baby was tucked into a little ball with its feet right up against its rump so there was no showing of parts. Baby was also fast asleep, without hope of waking up.

After taking lots of measurements and trying to push on my belly, baby finally decided to move, just enough to get a glimpse!

This is baby all curled up in a ball. The ultrasound tech was very impressed of how curled up baby was. This is the best profile picture we could get. This little one was not about to let us see what we wanted to!

Once we finally got baby to move, it first crossed its ankles and then layed in this position, still making it impossible to see what sex.

After lots of other pics, we finally saw the one we wanted to.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://littlebuckaroos.blogspot.com/2010/09/its-boy-its-girl.html' title='IT'S A BOY???? A week ago I held a baby shower for my friend Emily at our house. About 20 min after the guest left Paislee pulled a bar stool on to her and cut her forehead. Heath was at work, so the kids and I packed up and drove to Utah Valley Emergency Room. Once we got there the doctor told me that he would need to do conscious sedation on Paislee to make sure he gets the least visible scar possible. Thank you so much to my sister, Mollie, for taking Riker during the procedure and then bringing him back with plenty of treats and a new activity book. He sure is a monster and had he been there I would have been in serious trouble! Paislee did great for the procedure and was quite hilarious coming out of the sedation.

This is the next day. She was pretty proud of her stitches. It looks really small, but they managed to fit 7 stitches in it!

This is Riker's new found treasure. We have had this bummer bottle sitting around since Spit Fire was a colt and we had to bottle feed him after Splash died. Riker likes to try and feed M&M out of it, who does not want anything to do with it.

Paislee and Riker have also been taking swimming lessons. Daddy swims with Riker and both did very well the first session! Riker is a natural fish in the water. Paislee on the other hand, is more into play than in to learning how to swim.

Paislee sitting on the sidelines while her stitches were in. She did not like sitting on the sidelines.

We hope to continue to have a fun filled summer. Riker will be 2 next month! I can't believe our little monkey is that big! Heath is almost done building his round pen and once it is done he will be able to start working on his colt. We also have many fun fishing, camping, and dirt biking trips planned. I am hoping with all of our fun activities that we have planned that we can make time to work on the basement. I am hoping that we can have the basement finished by the end of the year since we will be welcoming 2 more little feet into our home then!

We hope you have a fun filled summer!

Devils Race Track

One of our favorite hobbies is to ride dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. Papa and grandma came down for Mother's Day and then stayed the night so we could go on a dirt biking "adventure" on Monday. Heath and my dad had gone riding the week before out to the Devils race track and had such a good time that we all decided to do it.

I am sure that I am going to be being some 50cc dirt bikes in the near future. My kids, are addicted to motorcycles!

Riker doesn't have all the gear yet, so he wears a bicycle helmet and sun glasses. He is so patient when his glasses (that are too big) slide down, he just waits for someone to notice and push them back up!

This is us on top of Dutchmans Arch. We stopped to have lunch by Swayze's cabin and found this cool little cubby in the rock. I can see how the pioneers kept things cool. It was a little chilly in there!

The kids eating there sandwhiches in the little cubby. I am not sure how the pioneers did it, but I am sure thankful for my house and all my worldy possesions.
Riker also found himself a furry little friend. A MOUSE! It was dead and he picked it up, so I screamed and he screamed for about 10 minutes. I scared him half to death.

This is our little Pnut and her riding get up! She couldn't part with her blanket, so grandma decied to improvise and put it up under her helmet so she could suck it while she rode. She is sure the 4-wheelin princess in this seat.

This is Eagles Canyon, it is under I-70. These bridges are about 300ft above us.

It was so amazingly beautiful.

This is our latest adventure! I hope that we soon have more to share with you and that I can get them posted as soon as our next adventure arrives.

VIVA "Next" Vegas

Heath had a few extra days off work, so we decided to take the kids to "next" Vegas. We had a really fun time and Paislee is still talking about all the exciting adventures we had while in "next" Vegas, as she calls it. We also had a really fun suprise when we arrived in Vegas, grandpa and grandma decided to go down for a few days too. The weather was a little chilly, but that didn't stop my munchkins from wanting ice cream. They enjoyed their ice cream and people watched!

Heath had this brilliant idea that we weren't staying too far from the main strip. After our first night of walking the strip, Heath decided that it would be just as fast to walk back to the condo as it would be to wait for the shuttle. After walking 8 miles and 2 hours later, we finally made it back to the condo. We did get to see the famous Las Vegas sign on our walk!

We walked passed this mime about a dozen times and half the time Riker thought he was cool and the other half he was scared to death of him. Paislee got sick on the 30th of December with a very high fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abd pain. We just thought she had the tummy bug, but when we couldn't keep her fevers down from 105 we decided to take her to the Emergency Room. They told us she had an ear infection and the tummy bug. We were really excited to start getting her better.

In the meantime Riker, Heath, and I all got the tummy bug but recovered very quickly. Paislee still failed to improve. Last Tuesday night, she got incredibly sick with fever and abdominal pain so severe she couldn't walk or even lift her head off the bed. I decided to trek to Primary Childrens at 1100 p.m. Thanks to Amberlie, my sister-in-law, I was able to drop Riker off at their house so that he could sleep.

I got to the emergency room about 130 a.m. and Paislee was taken right back, because they thought she had appendicitis. After doing some blood work and hearing that she also had a cough, they found that her whole right lung was full of pneumonia. After getting some IV antibiotics we got to go home.

Paislee is starting to feel better and working hard at getting back to her playful, fun self.
I am working hard to exercise and get into shape. We are excited to start finishing off our basement so that we can have lots of play dates in our new play room and lots of fun get togethers.

We are hoping that this new year brings lots of joy and happiness to our family. I wanted to delete the two pics that are not rotated, but can't figure it out. Sorry. These pics are a little catch up of us.

Riker decided that he was going to put window clings on the front door while I cleaned. It was really nice, it kept him occupied for about an hour. I was actually able to accomplish something.

Paislee and Riker got some new church clothes and looked so stinkin cute that we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a pic. Pnut is wearing the camel necklace that her papa brought her back from Iraq.

The last pic is Riker helping me make whipping cream tonight. We also made a yummy pumpkin pie and some chili. Tomorrow morning Riker, Heath and I are going to Meadow, where my sister-in-laws family has a ranch. We are planning to play and ride motorcycles for the weekend. Paislee is already over there with my mom.
We will soon have pics from our exciting weekend.

Hope everyone has a very enjoyable and safe weekend.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_vmNFF11GQEg/SwdrJQHkpxI/AAAAAAAAASc/6tDQfDmAQX8/s320/PB200020.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406407684371293970" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vmNFF11GQEg/SwdrJL3cqLI/AAAAAAAAASU/WlwVbstfioQ/s320/PB140007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406407683229919410" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_vmNFF11GQEg/SwdrIyzaY_I/AAAAAAAAASM/tRGKp0reRUI/s320/PB150012.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406407676502107122" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vmNFF11GQEg/SwdrIhWJOBI/AAAAAAAAASE/gjmquA_FXn0/s320/PB140007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406407671815944210" />

Did Anyone See the Swine?!?

I have been wanting to update my blog, but have been sick in bed since Saturday. Heath went to Heber to watch the extreme mustang makeover that his older brother was competing in, while my mom and sister came down to go to some holiday boutiques. My mom and sister ended up watching my kids until Heath got home because I was so sick I couldn't even get up off the floor. By Monday, Heath had decided that he needed his wife and the kids needed their mommy back so he took me to the doctor. They are pretty sure I contracted influenza and possibly have some pneumonia going on. I attempted to get ready for the day today and travel north to go to work, but by the time I got out of the shower and started to dry my hair, I was ready to lay back down. I will attempt again to go to work. I still have no energy and have no appetite, which doesn't help to get my energy back. I have some greater empathy for those that get the gomboo and hope that those that haven't had it don't have to experience it. I hope to be back to myself soon, since my projects are sitting undone and the house work is piling up! I hope to have cute pics and stories of my family to post soon.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! We are going to attempt to repeat it in August! Although, I am going to try and update my blog more frequently. Riker looks like a whole new man. We were hoping to not cut Rikers hair until his 1st birthday, which is on the 23rd of this month, but when stangers start telling you that your baby's hair is out of control then it is time. I had my friend Angie do his first "official" haircut. I cut 2 inches off when he was 6 months old. Now that he has had his haircut, he looks just like our nephew Hunter, who is a cute little guy.

Paislee is an old pro at getting her hair cut. Needless to say, that when I was done, it was to late to play on the computer.

* * * *

I decided today was the day. We have done lots of fun things in the last month. Mollie, my sister, and her kids came down about 2 weeks ago and had a barbeque at our neighbors after coming to our ward to hear me give a talk in Church. It was a blast. The kids had a great time, our neighbor Dave, has a bunch of ride on toys for his grandkids that he let them play on. Heath also rode in the reinactment wagon train of the settlement of the Gunnison Valley.

* * * *

Last week we took the kids on a day trip up to Fish Lake to go fishing. By the time we got up there, the wind was blowing so bad, that there was no hope of catching any fish. Heath decided to throw his hook in the water, getting it stuck on rocks and hooking himself in the nose after pulling it from the rocks. I was laughing so hard, I was neither any help or took any pics. A few hours later I was still laughing about it, I couldn't even tell Mollie the story. The kids had alot of fun trekking out throught the wilderness and checking out the deer. Paislee is still waiting to go fishing. Everytime we see some water she tells us to stop so we can try and catch a fish.

* * * *

On Wednesday we decided to load up the truck and go to Capital Reef. We were originally going to go up to Yuba and water ski, but the weather was not permitting. We had a blast. On Wed we went on a 2 mile hike and Paislee hiked the entire thing! We then tried to go for a bike ride and Riker screamed and so the ride came to a quick end. We attempted to roast marshmellows, Paislee caught hers on fire and Riker just tried to eat all of them before we could roast them. Yesterday we went on a 4 mile hike. I am still sore. Paislee wouln't walk so Heath and I kept trading off on carrying the kids. It was a beautiful view from the top.

                                                 ****

Today, Paislee helped her daddy clean the horse corral, while Riker followed me around the house screaming while I attempted to do some house work. Although, every time I look at her blog I want my own. We finally decided to join the cyber world and get internet last week. My husband needs it to do is homework and I'm excited because now I finally get to play on the computer after the kids go to bed. We have a desktop computer in our basement, but our basement is not finished so it is freezing cold, but today we went to Walmart in Richfield and bought a wireless router. It is great. Paislee, my 2 year old was watching a movie, while I was buying myself a professional grade KitchenAid mixer for mothers day! Heath, my husband, works grave yards and still doesn't know that I bought myself a nice mothers day present. I am excited to get updated pictures off of my camera and on to the computer so I can share the joys of my daily routine. Riker, my 9 month old, is about to take off walking. He can stand up to anything. As long as it is taller than him in the crawling position, he will use it to stand up. I can't believe how fast they grow.
